MIST Linker™ enables rapid, site-specific labeling of primary antibodies with a fluorophores through a UV-cleavable linker. The kit provides a fast, flexible solution for labeling antibodies for a typical immunofluorescence staining or immunohistochemistry, with comparable performance as conventional 2-step process. The labeled antibody can carry up to 8 fluorophores, and thereafter it overcomes the major limitation of using labeled primary antibody for staining.

The unique features of this kit include

1. Lowest input of antibody as little as 0.5 µg

  • Generate dye labeled antibodies in one simple steps using only 0.5 µg of antibody, dramatically reducing reagent consumption and the cost of building large antibody panels for multiplex assays.

2. High fluorophore load

  • Labeling of up to 8 fluorophores on each antibody leading to super high fluorescence using just primary antibody for staining.

3. UV cleavage for removal of fluorescence

  • The fluorophores on an antibody can be rapidly released using standard UV illumination. This feature makes MIST Linker particularly suitable for multiplex staining.

4. Fc-directed labeling preserves antibody performance

  • Site-specific conjugation to the antibody Fc region minimizes interference with antigen binding and helps maintain antibody affinity.

5. Ideal for multiplex and multi-cycle staining

  • Proven technique for multiplex assays. Cleavable design for cyclic staining. No need to worry about antibody sources and same species in the same panel.

6. Ready in 5 - 10 min

  • Complete the entire antibody labeling workflow in 5 - 10 min, enabling on-demand preparation whenever experiments require.
